Dimboola Football Netball Club

 



Dimboola is located in the western part of the wimmera. This year Dimboola had a good season for both netball and football. Our B Grade netball team got into the grand final but lost by 3. Dimboola has four jerseys one with green background and yellow strips with a kangaroo on the front. Another is our dfc jumper with sponsors and a big D and little f and c. We have two the same and an Aboriginal one with round strips with the aboriginal flag on them and Dfc on them to.

Tim Watson the AFL super star grew up in Dimboola. His son Jobe Watson has recently won the Brownlow Medal. Tim Watson came to Dimboola in early 2010 to teach us more on the game of football. Later that night he did a presentation on his time in Dimboola and growing up. After myself and some friends went up to him and asked him a little bit more on the game.
